Information about Corten sheet metal:
Our product is made from slow-rusting Corten steel and will rust when placed outdoors. The sheets are delivered unrusted directly from production!
To speed up the rusting process, you can mix some ordinary salt with water and spray it on using a spray bottle. One or two tablespoons per 0.5 liters of water is usually a suitable amount. Do this approximately twice a day for 2 days. Then spray with clean water a few times to remove any salt residue. The more often you wet the steel and then allow it to dry, the faster you will achieve an attractive rusted surface.
