Our product is made from weathering corten steel and will rust when kept outdoors. The sheets are delivered unrusted directly from production!
If you want to speed up the rusting process, you can mix some regular salt with water and spray it on using a spray bottle. One or two tablespoons per 0.5 litres of water is usually about right. Do this approximately twice a day for 2 days. Then spray with clean water a few times to remove any salt residue. The more times you wet the steel and then let it dry, the faster you will achieve an attractive rusted surface.
